Equipment Checkout
1. Equipment is checkout to WCUCOM faculty and students. Occasionally, items will be checked out to other pre-approved departments and programs. Pre-approval is obtained through the ILC Director.

2. A signature is required to acknowledge that the patron is responsible for any damages or loss of items.

3. The ILC staff will prepare the equipment for checkout. This will include any necessary power cords, adapters and cases.

4. The ILC staff will make sure the patron is familiar with the item being checked out and will assist in teaching the patron how to use the equipment needed.

5. By checking out the equipment from the ILC, the patron agrees that they understand the checkout policies, fees for lost or damaged items, and penalties for late return.

6. Items may not be checked out for longer than 7 days. If there is no hold on the item, renewals may be made in person for an additional 7 days. Items may only be renewed once.

7. During checkout, patrons and ILC staff should inspect the equipment to make sure no damages are apparent. Any damages should be reported immediately to the ILC Director

Equipment Check In
1. Before checking items in, please ensure that you have:
- Wiped down and cleaned all the equipment used.
- Drained it of all liquids, simulated blood, etc.
- Returned it to its original case/container.

2. Upon return, the equipment will be inspected for damages. Any damages will be reported to the ILC Director.

3. A signature is required by the patron when returning equipment.

Replacement and Damages

1. If the equipment is not cleaned properly prior to check-in, a fee will be applied and the patron's account will be billed for the time spent cleaning and maintaining it by the ILC staff. $100 dollars will be charged for every 30 minutes spent by the ILC staff on cleaning checked in equipment.

2. If damages are found when the equipment is returned or if the item is lost, the patron will be charged for those damages based on market value to repair or replace the item.
